The key objective was to shine a spotlight on each of the five towns in the borough, showcasing their diverse industries and encouraging people to shop local. By driving awareness through a multi-channel campaign, the council sought to strengthen town identities, increase footfall, and create lasting economic benefits for businesses across the area.

The challenge was to create a campaign that highlighted the individuality of each town while reinforcing a single, unifying message. Each town had different industries and local strengths, requiring a creative approach that celebrated uniqueness while tying back to the “Embrace Your Town” theme.

The Spring campaign achieved impressive results: a total reach of 375,854, with 519,802 views, 70,406 reactions, and an engagement rate of 19.43%. These figures demonstrate not only strong visibility, but genuine community connection, residents embraced the campaign, local businesses gained exposure, and the borough’s towns were celebrated at scale.
